Meet the Team

Walt Hippauf is the Broker Owner of Help-U-Sell Peoples Real Estate serving Philadelphia, Bucks, Montgomery, and Delaware Counties for over 30 years. He became a Pa Licensed Realtor in 1986; Earned his Broker’s license in 1994 and studied Real Estate Law at Temple University. Walt also has an associate’s degree in Civil Engineering from Penn State in 1968. In 1994 Walt opened his own Real Estate Brokerage known as Peoples Real Estate. In 2001 he purchased this Help-U-Sell franchise.

Walt specializes in Marketing Real Estate on the Internet for a flat fee and offers Real Estate Consulting services for an affordable fee. Prior to becoming a Realtor he owned and operated a catering business and after that became a PA licensed Insurance Agent. As a Realtor in 1986, Walt specialized in Land Development including designing and building Modular Housing.

Walt is married to his beautiful bride Marci for 35 years and they have 5 children and 6 grandchildren. Walt enjoys dancing to the Oldies with his bride, playing Golf (15 handicap) with his brother and son. Walt is an accomplished Saxophonist and had his own band in the ’70s and ’80s. He still enjoys jamming with his buddies.

Henry Rutledge is Walt’s partner at Help-U-Sell People’s Real Estate and serves the same primary areas with a special focus in the rapidly growing Norristown Area. He has worked with Walt Hippauf since earning his Real Estate License in 2019 and studied Real Estate at the Schlicker-Kratz Institute. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University, having worked in the orthopedic industry for 7 years.

In addition, he’s spent considerable time doing general contracting work in investment properties and has worked as an estimator in the steel industry. He specializes in the sale and purchase of residential and investment properties in the SE Pennsylvania area and holds to our franchise’s core beliefs of flat fees and affordable real estate services.

When he’s not too busy working, he enjoys carpentry, baking and creating his own recipes, and in the summer, you can usually find him biking down to Philly on the Schuylkill Trail or tubing the Schuylkill River.
